Once I shared iconography w/ a group: showing them 2 icons on genesis: Jesus is at the scene.... Ques is: why was Jesus there? ... Level 1 answer is: Jesus represents God. ... Answer should be: LOGOS (the word)... in the Genesis: God says: Let there be light ... all are created by His Divine Word ... (for man + His hands & breath) ... = In the beginning was the Word.
